How can an ancient book have anything to do with me?
It might seem odd that a book written thousands of years ago would be a story written about you. Yes and no. The Bible is not about you directly. It´s not about any of us directly either. But we are all involved. This is a story that catches up to us. God is calling you to be a part of it.
Indeed, you are a part of it, knowingly or not. You are a part of the race of humanity that God created, which has been in a state of mutiny since Adam and Eve first rebelled (see Act II). He is calling you back to the sort of relationship that he had with his original creations in the Garden of Eden. He’s calling you back to friendship.
But why should you come? That´s one of many questions that God answers in his story. We can´t suppose to know you as an individual as God does. What we can do is help you start your journey as one of God´s people.
