It is at this point in the story that Jesus, who many have put their hope in as the Messiah of the world, is killed. His disciples are left dumbfounded. Their beloved leader, their Savior, is dead. How can this be? If this was part of God´s plan to bring humanity back to himself, then this is a sound defeat.
Yet, in what seems to be God´s greatest failure, we see God´s nature the clearest. Out of the most hideous event in history, the killing of the only sinless human being, God crafts the most beautiful event in history: the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Out of darkness, God brings light. He did it in the creation of the world. He did it in Abraham and his descendant. He did it in the resurrection.
He wants to do it in you, if you are willing.
