Questions for Today |

Who is Jesus?
There is no shortage of ideas about who Jesus was or what he was about. Even when he walked the earth, he was called a good man, a demon-possessed man, a good teacher, a blasphemer, and even God himself. His own family claimed he had gone insane! All these ideas about him surfaced in a matter of about three years.
Today, Jesus is as controversial as he ever was. Jesus was a vegetarian! Jesus was a communist! Jesus was a Republican! Jesus was a prophet! Just about everyone has an opinion regarding who this man named Jesus was. You probably have your own opinion.
Regardless of what your opinion is, we ask you to revisit this question: who was Jesus? There are those who would say this question should be present tense: who is Jesus? While we include ourselves in that group and hope that you come to see this viewpoint, we aren´t proposing that you take this view because it is ours. Rather we ask you to take look at Christ through the Scriptures, seeing him in his story. This is the Jesus we see: one who doesn´t identify himself with any cause or movement except his own cause and movement. Let Jesus define Jesus.
We are unable to tell the story as well as the Bible already does. We encourage you to read the accounts of his life for yourself in the New Testament. But if you´d like a crash course in Jesus, it´s our pleasure to present you with Act IV of God´s story: Jesus.
Act IV: Jesus
